The home in Sanur of Belgian painter, Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur de Merpres, was turned into a museum in 1957. Le Mayeur was from Brussels originally but lived the last part of his life in Bali. He married the beautiful Legong dancer, Ni Pollok, who was also the inspiration for many of his works.

It was interesting to know one artist who loved Bali. The museum was his home previously. When I went there, it looked like closed from outside, but actually opened!
Usually, taking pictures in the museum is not allowed, but in this museum, seems like it was not really strict...
